How safe is swine flu vaccination for children under 5? UK only!?

I have two nieces aged 4 and 3 and a nephew aged 2. My three year old neice has one kidney, and last week had the swine flu vaccination. How safe is it? And how come the other two didnt have to have it even though mum asked for it?
