Who supplied D.B. Cooper's parachutes?

I am a master licensed skydiver. I have jumped in Washington state and British Colombia. I know skydivers in that area. I wonder if the D.B. Cooper legend is connected to any existing drop zones. If I had been Cooper, I would have brought my own parachute because it is easy to conceal and I could trust my parachute versus one supplied by an unknown in the commission of a crime.
