The only way that those fraternity affiliations help you is if you apply to your University's chapter of any of those fraternities. Your brother or neighbor can write a letter of recommendation for you, and if your school has a chapter of Sigma Chi, you are considered what is called a "legacy" for that fraternity so you are more likely to be admitted.
