Cartilage piercing help?

i have a cartilage piercing in my ear and it didn't hurt for more than a few seconds. if you do decide to have it done do not do it your self. this is the fastest way to get an infection. have it done by someone who knows what they are doing and make sure it is done with sterile equipment. i had mine done at a Clair's in the local mall and not a single problem. just make sure you follow the instructions they give you
