How long does it take to thaw pork chop?

I'm new to cooking, I'm wondering how long it takes to thaw a....about 1.5cm thick pork chop in the fridge?? And also, is it safe to cook pork chop when it's not thoroughly thawed? (ex. thawed in the fridge for 2 hours)
