So is this Higgs Boson test tomorrow going to be the most exciting scientific test ever, or the end of time?

Neither. I think it will wind up as nuclear physics' equivalent of the TV show where Geraldo Rivera opened Al Capone's safe. After the experiment proves to be a dud, CERN should erect a statue of the late poet Gertrude Stein at ground level above the "atom smasher". She is famous for saying: "There's no there, there.".
